A Glimpse of Summertime in Massachusetts 2011

Recently my dad and I took a trip back to Boston and Cape Cod, so along the way I of course snapped a few shots!

The infamous Boston Market
The beautiful countryside.
Old North Bridge - Concord, MA.
Author's Ridge - "Sleepy Hollow" Cemetery
A bit of the Atlantic Ocean. [I love the colors in this one.]
Lifeguard stand No. 1
An inspiring view of the Cape.
A typical scene in Plymouth, MA.

Recent Adventures

The following is the reason I have not posted anything in a while... I have been busy as ever going on one adventure after another!  Below here are photos from my visits to Puget Sound,Washington and NE Oregon/Mt. Hood area.

"Wine Tasting"

For the first time ever (since I am a minor), I went wine tasting with my dad.  Though I did not do any tasting myself, I took it as an opportunity to take some photos.  There weren't very many shots of the vineyards themselves due to the season and weather, but I did manage to take more than I expected of the other beautiful scenery!

A Glimpse of Seattle 2010

As I am still getting my footing here, I will only share two pictures. But what's important to note about this is that both of these pictures come from a place very special to me: Seattle. I have spent many summers (or at least partial summers) here, and each time I find new niches to explore.

A Glimpse of London & Paris 2010

From one of our day trips to the countryside - Stonehenge!
Watching the Changing of the Guards.
Statue just outside Buckingham Palace.
View from our hotel room of the Victoria Train Station.
From our tour on the Seine in Paris.
Last but not least obviously, the Eiffel Tower!

Between my brother and I we literally took thousands of pictures, which I clearly cannot fit here. Hopefully I will someday add more... Or, go back and take more!

Experimenting

Both of these pictures were taken at my parents' house. Every spring their garden grows exponentially (or at least it seems like that) and I am inspired to practice taking pictures. I am attracted to simple, colorful, close-up shots.

The Beginning

As a graduation gift I received a Nikon D5000 and though I have yet to take full advantage of it, but here is a preview of what I think could be a great collection of photos from my life. This is How I Live and Learn. Welcome.
